Watch: Denied permission to enter JP Narayan International Centre, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav jumps its boundary wall
The development came two days after Akhilesh slammed Pathak and allegedly called him a “servant” – connoting the deputy CM as nothing more than a minion in the BJP dispensation.
The SP chief’s outburst came after Pathak attacked the former CM for scaling the wall of an otherwise sealed compound of Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre in Lucknow to garland the statue of JP on his birth anniversary.
Pathak had then said that the act clearly indicated that Akhilesh “had nothing to do with law”.
“Wo humesha kanoon todna pasand karte hain … arajakta phailana Samajwadiyon ka purana tareeka hai. Akhilesh ji itna accha koodana jaante hai to unhein Asian Games mein jaa ke Bharat ke liye kucch aur medal lane par kaam karna chahiye…” Pathak had mocked.
When reporters sought Akhilesh’s reaction on Pathak’s comment, he said that he does not reply to any “servant’s” remarks.
On Friday, Pathak tweaked his profile name on X and posted a video.
“Main Akhilesh Yadav ji ka hriday se abhaar pratak karta hun … unhone mujhe Servant Dy CM kaha hai…ye sahi hai ki main servant ke roop mein pradesh ki janta ke liye kaam karta hun,” Pathak said in the video.
He further taunted Akhilesh as a person from ‘Raj Gharana’ (royal family) who “behaves like a King”.
