New Delhi: Apparel maker Cantabil Retail India is looking to expand its presence in the global market by entering Nepal with its first exclusive brand (EBO) outlet, the company said in a media release on Friday.
“This marks a new chapter in our journey, and we are eagerly awaiting to introduce the Cantabil experience to a new audience worldwide,” Deepak Bansal, director of the company said.
The clothing retailer also shared that it reached its 500th store milestone by opening a store in Rekabganj, Ayodhya. On achieving this milestone, Bansal said, “We are not only thrilled about this achievement, but also excited about the prospects it opens for us all over the country.”
In the current financial year 2023-24, Cantabil opened 69 exclusive retail stores across 14 different states. Currently, it has a presence in more than 250 cities across India and plans to open more stores in the coming months, the company said. It expects to delve deeper into Tier II and III cities.
This year, the apparel retailer also diversified its portfolio and forayed into the footwear and athleisure category with its first store in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. Also, it intends to open 5 exclusive brand outlets catering to these categories by the end of the year.
Established in 2000, Cantabil Retail India is in the business of designing, manufacturing, branding, and retailing apparel under the brand name CANTABIL. The brand caters to all three segments and a wider range of products in men’s wear, women’s wear, and kids’ wear categories.
