Kamareddy Assembly Elections Results 2023 Live: This Telangana assembly constituency is all set for a significant political battle, featuring the incumbent chief minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, also known as KCR, representing the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). KCR faces opposition from K Venkata Ramana Reddy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the State Congress President, Revanth Reddy.

Counting of votes for the Kamareddy assembly constituency started at 8 AM and as per the latest updates from ECI website, Anumula Revanth Reddy of the Indian National Congress (INC) is leading with 36673 votes against Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) who has secured 33338 votes.
In the 2018 assembly polls, Gampa Govardhan from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), presently associated with the Bhartiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS), retained his position as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Kamareddy, securing 42.02% of the total votes cast. Govardhan emerged victorious with a 2.83% margin over his closest rival, Mohd Ali Shabbir of the Indian National Congress. The electoral process in 2018 witnessed a substantial voter turnout of 78.83%, with a total of 74,891 male and 86,234 female voters exercising their franchise.
