New Delhi: VIP Industries, a luggage and travel accessories maker, on Tuesday, has reported a decline of 83.78 per cent in consolidated net profit at Rs 7.15 crore for the third quarter ended in December 2023 from a consolidated net profit of Rs 44.10 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year, it said in a BSE filing.
However, the company’s total revenue from operations grew 3.8 per cent at Rs 546.42 crore in Q3 FY24 from Rs 526.40 crore in the same period of the last fiscal.
As per the regulatory filing, its total expenses grew to Rs 535.89 crore in Q3 FY24 as against Rs 478.10 crore in Q3 FY23.
In a separate filing, the company declared the interim dividend of Rs 2 (Rupees Two) per equity share of face value of Rs 2 each for FY24. The interim dividend for FY24 shall be paid on or after 16th February, 2024.
