NEW DELHI: Royal Challengers Bengaluru became the first team to lose a home game in IPL 2024. Despite Virat Kohli‘s unbeaten 83, RCb went down to Kolkata Knight Riders losing by 7 wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday.
A day after losing the match, RCB posted a video of their coach Andy Flower discussing and reviewing the performances of the players in the match.
“One of the great things about this game are, we are constantly challenged. And no matter how experienced or inexperienced we are, we always have to find solutions,” Flower says in the video.

Kohli’s meticulous unbeaten 59-ball knock anchored RCB to 182/6 on a two-paced pitch that became easier to bat on later.
KKR openers Sunil Narine, playing his 500th Twenty20, and Phil Salt made a rocket start of 85 in the power play as the visitors reached 186/3 with 3.1 overs to spare.
Such was KKR top order’s dominance that they did not need their showstopper Andre Russell to pad up.
KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer (39; 24b; 2×4; 2×6) signalled the victory with a maximum.
KKR have two wins from two matches, and RCB one victory from three games.
