The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video of the Pakistan cricket team undergoing various drills and exercises at the army base camp.
The video is captioned: “A candid peek into the Pakistan team’s training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT), Kakul.”
The camp features Pakistan fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir and Naseem Shah, among others.
In an effort to get the team back on track for this year’s Twenty20 World Cup, the PCB reappointed Babar Azam as white-ball captain on Sunday.
In November, following Pakistan’s disastrous loss in the opening round of the 50-over World Cup in India, Azam announced his resignation as captain of all formats.
Following the decision made by the seven-member selection committee that was reorganized a week ago, Azam has taken Shaheen Shah Afridi’s place.
After resigning, he was replaced as Test captain by Shan Masood and in Twenty20 Internationals by Shaheen.
The 1-4 loss in New Zealand in January was Shaheen’s only T20I series in command.
Pakistan will play five T20Is against New Zealand at home, followed by two in Ireland and four in England, before the T20 World Cup in the United States and the West Indies.
