WhatsApp outage: Users unable to access globally – Times of India



NEW DELHI: Widely-used messaging platform WhatsApp, owned by Meta Platforms, experienced a global outage on Wednesday night, affecting thousands of users, as reported by outage tracking website Downdetector.com. Those attempting to log in were greeted with an error message indicating that the service was not available at that time.
Downdetector recorded over 17,000 incidents of users encountering issues with the messaging service.This platform aggregates outage reports from various sources, including user-submitted errors.
Specifically, more than 30,000 users in India, over 67,000 in the United Kingdom, and 95,000 in Brazil reported problems with WhatsApp.
Downdetector, a well-known website that monitors online service disruptions, reported a significant increase in reports from users encountering problems while trying to use WhatsApp.
