‘Gamechanger’: Yuvraj Singh wants this CSK player in the T20 World Cup squad | Cricket News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Since Yuvraj Singh‘s retirement, Team India has been on a quest for a left-arm all-rounder capable of turning matches around, reminiscent of the legendary player’s impact in his prime. The search appears to have ended with Shivam Dube, who is striving to step into those formidable shoes.
Playing for the Chennai Super Kings, Dube smashed a magnificent 45 runs off just 24 balls against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in an IPL 2024 encounter.

The dynamic left-hander hammered four sixes and two fours during his innings.

As Dube dominated the Sunrisers’ bowlers, Yuvraj took to social media to praise the all-rounder’s performance.
“Good to watch Shivam Dube clearing the field with ease !! I feel he has to be in the World Cup squad. Has got the skill to be the #gamechanger #CSKvsSRH #IPLT20,” Yuvraj wrote.

In the four matches Dube has played so far in the tournament, he has amassed 148 runs at an impressive average of 49.33 and a strike rate of 160.87.
