NIA raids UP, Bihar sites to foil Maoists’ north India revival plan | India News – Times of India



The NIA conducted raids in UP and Bihar to investigate a CPI (Maoist) conspiracy to expand in northern India. The group aims to revive influence in states like UP, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh. NIA seized digital devices and incriminating materials in Ballia and Kaimur. Four accused were named in a chargesheet filed on Feb 9, 2024.
