So who is Wipro’s new CEO Srini Pallia?
Srini, a veteran of Wipro for over three decades, has recently served as CEO for Americas 1, the company’s largest and fastest-growing strategic market.According to Wipro, during his tenure, he led various industry sectors, formulated their objectives, and implemented growth strategies, resulting in increased market presence. Srini is also a member of the Wipro Executive Board.

Since joining Wipro in 1992, he has held various leadership roles, including President of Wipro’s Consumer Business Unit and Global Head of Business Application Services. With extensive institutional and industry knowledge, Srini brings a proven track record of leadership during significant technological transformations in the industry to his new role as CEO, says Wipro in a company statement.
Srini, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s in management studies from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, has also completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and the McGill Executive Institute. He will be located in New Jersey and report to Chairman Rishad Premji.
