YouTube video gave him idea to discreetly work on two jobs
In December, a YouTube video posted by Bloomberg Originals, titled “How Remote Workers Are Secretly Juggling Multiple Jobs” gave him an idea of managing multiple remote jobs discreetly.
“I knew immediately I could do this,” Adam was quoted as saying. His primary goals were to double his income and pay off his student loans within two years. He told the publication he was grateful to secure a second remote position in February.
“A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn about a role that matched my profile. The application process was quick – two interviews within two weeks – and I got the job,” he explained.
Beyond repaying his loans, Adam said juggling two jobs – called double dipping or moonlighting – allowed him to save enough to help some friends financially.

It was highly debated whether employees should be allowed to work on two jobs to make ends meet. While some were in favour others said this was not ethical as it may adversely affect the employees’ performance.
