The BJP, in a post on ‘X’, termed the accused as “Brothers of Congress”, saying that ever since the admirers of Jihadi Tipu Sultan came to power in Karnataka, terrorists have been given a free ride.

The saffron party also accused Siddaramaiah of promoting “ease of doing terror” policies, thereby helping ISIS to establish its presence in Karnataka.
“The only guarantee that Siddaramaiah has fulfilled is converting prosperous Karnataka into a terror hub,” the Karnataka BJP wrote on ‘X’.
Accused Mussavir Hussain Shazib and Abdul Matheen Ahmed Taahaa were arrested from Kolkata in the early hours of Friday.
