While talking to ETimes TV about her sister’s death, the actress shared, “This happened on April 13th, she was in ICU and she was in fact recovering. We had shifted her to the new hospital and I was supposed to come to my hometown on 16th for my brother’s (who expired last year) daughter’s first birthday. She was showing improvement in her blood pressure, heart rate and everything was normal. She was on a ventilator but conscious but suddenly on 13th all of a sudden after 4 she expired. She started to feel breathless, then she had heart failure and died.”
Jennifer further shared how this is quite a challenging time for her, she said, “It’s very hard and an unimaginable time. It is devastating to lose two siblings within one and a half years. I am still fine, but my mom is having a tough time coping up with the losses. My sister was always with her, all the time. She is going to feel that void. My mother was super attached to her as she was a special child and was always with her. She is saying how would I sleep without her after you all leave.”
The actress further said, “I am currently in my hometown and I could only attend the last rites. The moment I got the news I rushed with my brother to our hometown. I reached here at 3 PM and by 5 PM the last rites were done. It is a very heavy moment, especially when I removed all her stuff to donate. She loved her clothes, purse and now I have to give it away. She was like my daughter. It is a difficult time for me, especially the last one and a half years, pata nahi kya hogaya hai,.. I am trying to do everything right but I feel it is my karma from the last birth”.
On Jennifer’s social media, the actress paid tribute to her sister by expressing, “Life will be unimaginable without you, my darling sister Dimple. Love you. Miss you. You taught us how to live every moment joyfully and keep smiling no matter what. RIP (sic).”
