A dispute arose between guest judge Abhijeet Bhattacharya and judge Neha Kakkar during a recent episode of Superstar Singer season 3. This disagreement stemmed from Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s comment regarding singers performing at weddings, which sparked an argument between the two judges. The ‘Dilbar’ singer came out in support of singers singing at weddings and stated that no work is big or small.
Now, in reaction to this incident, Millind Gaba retaliated with two videos showing Abhijeet Bhattacharya performing at events. He shared these videos on his social media handles and questioned the senior singer’s comments slamming people who sing at weddings.
In the video shared by Millind, Abhijeet Bhattacharya can be heard advising a contestant on the distinction between performing for financial gain and declining private assignments. He stated, “If someone is paying you to perform at a wedding, that goes against your reputation as a singer. I have the dignity to decline such requests when asked to sing at weddings.”
During the altercation, Neha Kakkar, one of the judges on the show, tried to intervene by saying, “Sir, please listen to me once.” However, Abhijeet Bhattacharya continued with his point, emphasizing the difference between accepting ₹1 crore to perform and rejecting such offers, which he believed was the essence of his argument. Neha countered his statement by asserting that no work should be considered big or small. In response to Neha’s viewpoint, Abhijeet expressed his disagreement with her by making a gesture with folded hands.

In the video shared by Millind Gaba, Abhijeet Bhattacharya can be seen performing his song at a school event, accompanied by dancing. Millind captioned the video with, “No Dada Dadi, Chacha Chachi can tell or fix anybody’s aukaat 😊 BIG Respect @nehakakkar 😊.”

Millind Gaba shared another reel featuring a remix of the video showing Abhijeet Bhattacharya singing at a private function. In this version, Abhijeet performs his well-known track “Tauba tumhare ye ishaare” from the film “Chalte Chalte,” captivating the audience with his rendition. Millind’s caption for the post reads, “Wo Kya Tha …… Jinke Ghar Sheeshe Ke Hon .. Wo Basement Mein Kapde Change Karte Hain ??? Yehi tha na #WhyDadaWhy .”
