NEW DELHI: Sanjay Nirupam, the former Congress leader, announced his decision to join the Shiv Sena on Friday.
“I have taken a decision to join Shiv Sena today,” stated Nirupam, highlighting the shift as a ‘ghar wapasi’, after a span of two decades. The formal induction into the party is set to occur in the presence of Maharashtra’s chief minister, Eknath Shinde.
