Ahead of the match, the official broadcaster of the tournament shared a video in which Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant talks about the importance of process and fans’ love for the team.
Pant says in the video, “I think mostly the way I look at my rules are I try to give my 200% in each and everything, that’s how I look at things. And result obviously it matters but at the same time you don’t think about that too much, you keep doing the process, whatever is working for you and you stick to that. In the end whatever comes when you give your 200% we’ll take as a team.”
On the support of DC fans, Pant says, “These guys have been supporting us through and through even when sometimes the team doesn’t play well, they always stick around, they always support us and it means a lot for us all the way, not only from my side, from all DC family and it means a lot.”

There is threat of rain over the match. DC might still have a chance in case of a washout, but RCB would be eliminated if there is a no result.
