NEW DELHI: The Central board of secondary education (CBSE) on Monday announced class 12 results.
87.98% students have passed the board exams. Over 24,000 candidates score above 95 per cent and over 1.16 lakh above 90 per cent. 87.98% students have passed the board exams. Girls have outshined boys by over 6.40 percentage points. Over 91 per cent girls have passed the CBSE class 12 board exams.

CBSE class 12 Result: How to check your scores

Students who sat for the exams earlier this year can now access their results through the official CBSE websites: cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
The results, which mark the culmination of the academic year, can also be viewed directly through DigiLocker, providing a convenient option for students to obtain their marksheets digitally. Additionally, in the event of high traffic leading to website downtimes, students can alternatively check their results on the UMANG app, ensuring that everyone has immediate access to their performance metrics.

Steps to check CBSE 12 results 2024:

1. Visit the official results website at results.cbse.nic.in.
2. Click on the ‘CBSE Class XII Senior Secondary Result 2024’ link on the homepage.
3. Enter your roll number and other required details in the fields provided.
4. Your provisional marksheet will be displayed, which you can download for future reference.

It’s important for students to note that the marksheet available online is provisional. The final and official marksheets will be made available through schools and can also be accessed on DigiLocker. Schools have already been sent the necessary security pins and passkeys for this purpose.
This year, the CBSE conducted the Class 12 exams from February 15 to April 2, in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. To pass the CBSE 12th exams, students are required to score at least 33 percent in both their internals and externals. Students who do not meet this criterion will not be eligible to appear for the compartment exam.
