NEW DELHI: In a twist to the AAP MP Swati Maliwal’s assault case, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s aide Bibhav Kumar, who has been accused by Maliwal of assaulting her, filed a counter complaint against the MP on Friday.
The development came hours after AAP held a press conference on the matter and accused Swati Maliwal of being a BJP pawn who was being used to entrap CM Kejriwal.

In his complaint, which he emailed to the police, Bibhav said that Swati Maliwal “forcefully and illegally trespassed” into the CM’s residence on May 13 despite the “repeated objections of the CM security and CMO staff”.
Kumar said Maliwal created a ruckus and assaulted him when he tried to stop her.
The party said that Kumar has filed the complaint via email to the station house officer of Civil Lines Police station and tagged Deputy Commissioner of Police of north district.
