Envoys of seven countries, including Chinese ambassador Xu Feihong and UK high commissioner Lindy Elizabeth Cameron, presented their credentials to President Droupadi Murmu on Friday. Envoys of New Zealand, Kuwait, Fiji, Guinea and Ecuador also presented their credentials.
Xu Feihong said later in a post he had a “friendly discussion” on China-India relations with the president.
“I will make my due contribution to the improvement and development of China-India relations,” he said. China had appointed an ambassador to India last month after a gap of 18 months.
