BJP’s candidate Lallu Singh is trailing behind Samajwadi Party’s Awadhesh Prasad with a marging of more than 20,000 votes
The parliamentary constituency of Faizabad is located in Uttar Pradesh.Five segments comprise its assembly constituency. The districts of FAIZABAD (4) and BARABANKI (1) are home to these assemblies.

Ayodhya city and Faizabad city are included in Faizabad, which has five vidhan sabha segments: Dariyabad, Radauli, Milkipur, Bikapur, and Ayodhya. The Scheduled Caste has reserved a seat in Milkipur.
Faizabad constituency went into polling in the fifth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, on May 20th. Voter turnout was recorded at 59.14%.
Key Candidates: With 5,28,113 votes, Lallu Singh of the BJP party won the 2019 Loksabha elections. The leading contenders on the list are Awadhesh Prasad from the Samajwadi Party, Lallu Singh from the Bharatiya Janata Party, and Sacchidanand Pandey from the Bahujan Samaj Party.

2014: In 2014, there were 1,738,701 electors in Faizabad, and 1,022,716 of those votes were genuine. Lallu Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party won with 491,761 votes, once again cementing his victory. Mitrasen Yadav of the Samajwadi Party, his opponent, received 208,986 votes, well behind by a substantial margin of 282,775 votes.
2019: The Faizabad parliamentary constituency had 1,821,785 eligible voters in total in 2019. Lallu Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party won with 529,021 votes out of 1,087,121 valid ballots cast. Anand Sen of the Samajwadi Party, his nearest rival, received 463,544 votes, giving him a 65,477-vote advantage.
