The Gondi police reported that they have received objections from the three villages of Antarwali Sarati, Vadigodri, and Dodadgaon against permitting Jarange to hold his strike.
Despite this, Jarange stated he was resolute in beginning his indefinite hunger strike and cautioned chief minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis not to make the mistake of attacking the protestors supporting his movement this time.
