Taking to X, Stalin said, “In protest of the exclusion of several states, except for a few, in the Union Budget report, MPs from the INDIA alliance have staged a demonstration.”
“Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, You said, “The election is over, now we must think about the country.” However, yesterday’s #Budget2024 aims to save your government rather than the nation!” He added.
Stalin also warned PM Modi to refrain from being vindictive against the opposition and lead the government impartially.
“Govern the country impartially. Do not be fixated on taking revenge against those who defeated you,” he said.
“I am obliged to warn you that if you govern based on political preferences and biases, you will end up isolated,” he added.
Meanwhile, DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran also advised PM Modi to follow CM Stalin and work for those who didn’t voted him.
“I think the time has come for the PM to take some good advice from and follow our CM MK Stalin. When MK Stalin became the CM of Tamil Nadu, he said – I will work not only for the people who voted for me but also for the people who did not vote for me, it is my duty,” Maran said.
“Today, the PM is not working for the people who voted for his party but only for the parties which are supporting him,” he added.
Earlier, INDIA bloc leaders also walked out from Rajya Sabha, claiming all states except Bihar and Telangana were ignored in Modi 3.0 Budget.
