Stepmom burns 5-yr-old son with hot spatula | Bhopal News – Times of India


BHOPAL: Irritated by a five-year-old boy urinating on the bed, his stepmother inflicted burns on the boy’s private parts in Chachoda area of Guna district.
Following a complaint from the child’s grandmother, the police have registered an FIR against the stepmother, identified as Raiza Bano (44), a resident of Barbat Pura.
According to the complaint lodged by the boy’s grandmother, around 6 am on Wednesday, her grandson urinated on the bed in his sleep.
In response, her daughter-in-law Razia, who is her grandson’s stepmother, assaulted the child and burnt him with a hot spatula on his hips, wrists, private parts, and chin. Cops confirmed that the child has suffered burns at several places.
The child’s grandmother and father intervened and took the child to the govt hospital in Binaganj, where he was treated for his injuries.

Both victims are receiving treatment with stable conditions. The police have registered an FIR and are investigating, but the family couldn’t provide additional details as they were inside the house.
