Rameshwaram cafe blast: NIA takes 2 terrorists to Bengaluru eatery for spot inspection | Bengaluru News – Times of India


BENGALURU: A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) brought two suspected terrorist to The Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru for spot inspection on Monday, TV reports said.
Adbul Matheen Taha and Mussavir Hussain Shazeb, who were arrested from Kolkata in April, this year, were brought to the popular city eatery where the NIA slueths inspected the blast site.
The duo was taken to the cafe at around 5.30am.
More than 50 policemen were deployed outside the cafe and barricades were erected in the surrounding area to prevent the movement of the public.
During the course of its investigation into the blast which took place on March 1, the NIA has conducted extensive searches at several locations in the country.
As many as 10 people were injured in the bomb explosion at the Cafe at Brookfield area of the city.
