Niyati Fatnani recently opened up about her experiences on “Khatron Ke Khiladi 14,” highlighting the challenging stunts she faced and her mother’s reactions to her daring feats. During an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, she recounted her most difficult stunt, which involved honey bees that stung her face and thighs, causing intense pain. Niyati also revealed that she experienced her first-ever panic attack during a water stunt, a moment that tested her mental and physical limits.
On her journey on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14
It was a surprising journey for me as I did go into the show with too many expectations. I did not think too much, the only thing I knew was to give my 100 percent in the show. I in fact, did not even know that we can abort stunts, I learnt about it after we started shooting. I only wanted to overcome my fears because this was my first reality show and I didn’t want my fans to think that I couldn’t do the stunts. I wanted to give my best and I was really surprised with the way things happened and the way I performed. It was miraculous.
It was a surprising journey
I gave my everything to the show and that helped me to stay so long on the show. It was surprising for many people, because they thought she’s very petite, cute, yaa toh ye zyaada royegi Yaa chillayegi but none of it happened.
During a height stunt involving cable cars I was literally shivering
The most difficult and scariest stunts for me were two of them. One was a height stunt involving cable cars where I was literally shivering. I could hear my heart beating faster. I was so scared. I was just looking at Rohit sir, and he kept encouraging me, saying ‘hojaayega Niyati.’ I had to climb on the net, collect flags, then go down and come up again. It was in the valley at a great height, with the wind and many other factors making it even more stressful. It was a very intense situation
I suffered a panic attack during a water stunt
The other was a water stunt, and as I’m not a pro swimmer, I was very scared. The moment I was put inside the water, I felt short of breath. I had not even started the stunt, and I was already very scared. I suffered a panic attack while performing it. For the first time, I got a panic attack. Mujhe pehli baar pata chala ke kya hota hai panic attack, ke aap ko saans nahi aarahi hai, and I was not letting go of the stuntman. He came to help me reach the mark, and I just held on to him. I refused to leave him and I kept shouting, ‘Help, help.
I got rashes from tarantulas, roaches, and snakes
My family is very happy. So far, I’ve only been sharing my experiences and showing them a few pictures from my stunts where I got rashes from tarantulas, roaches, and snakes. I had a lot of rashes and sent them pictures, which scared them. They asked about medications and everything. But when they saw the promos of me covered in honeybees, my mom was shocked and said, ‘Itna danger tha?’ The honeybees were biting me, and that’s why I was shouting. They were on my inner thighs and face, which are especially sensitive areas, so the pain was even worse. But during a stunt, what else can you expect? I was just chanting God’s name and got through it.
