3 employees of IT company held in UP nursing exam paper leak case | India News – Times of India



LUCKNOW: Sitapur Police Friday arrested four people in the nursing recruitment examination paper leak case. Three of the accused — Utkarsh Mishra, Gaurav Rajvanshi, and Ankit Srivastava — were employees of the IT company tasked with conducting the examination. The fourth accused, Amit Mishra, was an aide of the trio.
Police said the accused tampered with the server to facilitate the paper leak.Legal action has been initiated against them under the Uttar Pradesh Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Ordinance-2024.
“During the nursing examination on July 15-16, 2024, at KP Singh Memorial Institute of Pharmacy College, Sitapur, eight candidates from Rajasthan were found involved in cheating,” Sitapur SP Chakresh Mishra said, adding: “Later, investigation revealed Sanjay Pandey, an official at the examination centre, was involved in the paper leak. Pandey revealed Amit Mishra and three officials of the company conducting the examination were involved .”
SP Mishra said efforts were on to ascertain whether any other employee was involved in the case.
