‘Fatal Influence’ The New Name for ‘Judgment Day’? WWE Files Trademark | WWE News – Times of India

Filing a Trademark has been directly related to something new being offered in the WWE or any wrestling promotion. Be it a new type of match, new name for a wrestler, new gimmick or rebranding of superstars or a faction, new premium live events being formed, etc. WWE has recently filed for a mysterious trademark for the usage of the title “Fatal Influence”, which was approved by the ‘United States patent and Trademark Office’, after WWE applied for it.

Now, the filing has been done under the Goods and Services category and has been listed as entertainment services, wrestling exhibition and professional wrestlers’ performances through broadcast media. This development has the fans running the rumor mills, to predict what WWE must be planning with the new trademark. It is being assumed that the new Trademark has been filed for the rebranding of the ‘Judgment Day’ faction, since it’s going through a huge change of dynamics nowadays, after the mayhem at SummerSlam. Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley were betrayed and eliminated from this heel faction at SummerSlam, with Finn Balor forming a new looking Judgment Day which consists of him, Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, Carlito and JD McDonagh.

Priest and Rhea Ripley are left all alone and they have formed a new partnership, as they were the original members of the actual ‘Judgment Day’, and are now known as the ‘Terror Twins’, popularly. There are no certified reports about the rebranding of the Judgment Day or what the trademark will be used for, but it is believed by Dave Meltzer(‘Wrestling Observer’), that there may be discussions going on for changing the Judgment Day’s name to ‘Fatal Influence’ in the coming weeks. After the turmoil and chaos it went through in the past few weeks, a name change may not be the worst idea after all.
Earlier, it was reported by ‘WrestleVotes’ that the name ‘Street Trash’ was being considered as the new rebranded name for Judgment Day, but later that Idea was scrapped as no such trademark has been filed by the management. It is looking more likely that ‘Fatal Influence’ would be the eventual name for the faction, known for its notorious activities ever since its inception in 2022, whose founding member was Edge. Interestingly, Liv Morgan and Dominik( still part of the Judgment Day), are going to face Damian Priest and Rhea, at ‘Bash in Berlin’, in a Mixed Tag match. The ‘Terror Twins’ are itching to seek revenge from the opposite party, handing them severe beatdowns on Raw since the last two weeks, on the way.
