Indian passenger bus with 40 onboard plunges into Marsyangdi river in Nepal | India News – Times of India



NEW DELHI: Several people feared dead as an Indian passenger bus with 50 people onboard plunged into the Marsyangdi river in Nepal‘s Tanahun district on Friday, according to the news agency PTI.
“The bus bearing number plate UP FT 7623 plunged into the river and is lying on the bank of the river,” ANI quoted DSP Deepkumar Raya as saying.

The incident took place when the bus was travelling from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Uttar Pradesh’s relief commissioner took the notice of the incident and said that efforts are underway to establish contact and determine if any residents of the state were involved in bus mishap.
