Elon Musk-owned X down for some users globally – Times of India


Elon Musk owned X (formerly Twitter) is down for some users globally. At the time of publication, the Times of India team was unable to access the platform on both web and app.

Users affected by X outage

Downdetector.in – the platform that tracks real-time outage of websites, shows a spike with X, mainly hitting the app users. According to it, almost 71% of the app users and 27% desktop users say they are affected by the outage.

The issue started at around 8:30am (IST) in the morning today, peaking at around 8:50am impacting about 1000 users, as per Downdetector.in.

What’s the issue

While the exact reason behind the outage is not know, users says that while accessing the platform, they see a message that says ‘Something went wrong. Try again’. The company is yet to acknowledge the outage.
