Rishabh Pant says no, but captain takes a review and loses it in Duleep Trophy – WATCH – Times of India

NEW DELHI: India B, captained by Abhimanyu Easwaran, secured a commanding 76-run win over India A on Sunday. Musheer Khan’s stellar performance earned him the Player of the match award, as he smashed 181 runs off 373 balls, including 16 fours and five sixes. Easwaran’s team demonstrated dominance throughout the game.
However, a moment during the match has caught the attention of social media.
In a viral video, Easwaran is seen disagreeing with Rishabh Pant‘s judgment on a potential LBW decision.
The incident occurred during the 18th over when Mukesh Kumar’s delivery struck Shivam Dube’s pads.
Despite the appeal, the umpire declined, leading to a discussion between Easwaran and Pant, who was behind the stumps.
Pant, also the captain of the Delhi Capitals, was skeptical about the decision being overturned and advised against taking a review.
Easwaran, however, chose to ignore Pant’s advice and went ahead with the review. Ultimately, Pant’s assessment was correct, and India B lost the review.
