Haryana elections: AAP releases second list of 9 candidates | India News – Times of India



NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday released its second list of 9 candidates for the Haryana assembly elections. AAP has fielded Krishan Bajaj from Thanesar and Pravesh Mehta from Faridabad, as per the released list.
Rita Bamaniya has been given a ticket from Sadhaura, Hawa Singh from Indri and Mukhtiyar Singh Bazigar from Ratiya. Meanwhile, Adv Bhupendra Beniwal will contest from Adampur, Prof Chhatar Pal Singh from Barwala, Jawahar Lal from Bawal and Abash Chandela from Tigaon.

This comes after the party’s seat sharing talks with Congress broke down on Monday. As a result, the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP announced its initial list of 20 candidates for the upcoming elections.
Earlier, state unit chief Sushil Gupta had talked about the release of second list and said, “We waited till an appropriate time (for Congress). We will issue the second list today. The AAP will fight on 90 seats with full strength. We have only one aim to uproot the corrupt BJP government.”
Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5 with vote counting scheduled for October 8 along with Jammu and Kashmir.
