“Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators have become a major threat to Santhal Parganas and Kolhan regions. The demography of these regions is changing fast. The tribal population is on the decline. The infiltrators are taking over positions in Panchayats, grabbing land, indulging in atrocities on daughters of the state. Each Jharkhand resident is feeling unsafe,” prime minister said, without providing any evidence for his claim, while addressing the ‘Parivartan Maharally’ of the BJP at Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur.
The prime minister further alleged that the JMM was “supporting infiltrators” and that “illegal immigrants from the neighbouring country managed to establish influence” over the ruling party in the state.
PM labeled the JMM, RJD, and Congress as Jharkhand’s “biggest enemies,” accusing them of being power-hungry and engaging in vote bank politics.

Modi also claimed that the JMM-led government was trained by the Congress’s “school of corruption” and called for its removal, saying that it had looted mines, minerals, and Army land.
Despite inclement weather conditions preventing him from reaching Jamshedpur by helicopter, Modi traveled by road. “No obstacles, including heavy rain, could prevent me from reaching you, I am touched by your affection,” he said.
