Bumrah dismissed Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud at the stroke of Tea on Day 2 of the first Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday to get to the mark.
Bumrah had Mahmud caught by Virat Kohli at second slip as India took charge of the first Test of the series.
Bumrah is one of India’s most successful and unique fast bowlers, known for his unorthodox action, exceptional pace, and remarkable ability to deliver under pressure in all formats of the game. Since his debut, Bumrah has been a crucial part of India’s bowling attack.
Bumrah made an immediate impact in limited-overs cricket with his ability to bowl pinpoint yorkers at the death, something India had long sought. His consistency and control with the new ball and at the death helped India in both ODIs and T20Is.
