The “Bad Blood” Premium Live Event is making a return to the WWE calendar after more than two decades. On this auspicious occasion, a plethora of thrilling matches have been announced. The fans are pretty excited about the return of the PPV and wish for more forgotten and exciting PPV’s to make a return to WWE.
Here are 5 old PPV’s that should make a return to WWE calendar
1.Extreme Rules
One of the most popular Premium Live Events throughout the 2010s, was the “Extreme Rules” PPV. It was known for hosting extreme matches with different and exciting stipulations. The center of attraction was the “Extreme Rules” match in which wrestlers tore each other apart, to entertain the audience. 2022 was the last time Extreme Rules featured in a WWE calendar and it needs to make a return as soon as possible.(Most memorable match- John Cena vs Brock Lesnar, 2012)
2. Hell in a Cell.

Just like the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, the “Hell in a Cell” also made its last appearance in WWE in 2022. Like the name suggests, it hosted one of the most brutal and exciting Hell in a Cell matches which enthralled the audience for many years. Like the Bad Blood PPV, Hell in a Cell was also famous for hosting few of the greatest matches inside Hell in a Cell. (Most memorable match- Randy Orton vs John Cena, 2014)
3. Unforgiven
For any 90’s kid, who is a WWE fan, the “Unforgiven” pay-per-view is very memorable. It was discontinued after 2008. Between 2003 and 2007 it was a ‘RAW’ exclusive PPV and since brand exclusive PPVs were discontinued after 2007, it had to be taken away. 4. Armageddon.
Six-Man Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship
Another one of the favorite pay-per-views for a 90s kid, “Armageddon” debuted in 1999, when WWE was called “WWF”. Between 2003 to 2007, it was a SmackDown exclusive PPV. But since the brand exclusive PPVs were abolished, it had to be scrapped after that. It was replaced by the “TLC” pay-per-view. Armageddon will forever be remembered for its unique name and few of the most brutal matches taking place in the event. (Most memorable match- 6 man contest inside Hell in a Cell, 2000)
5. TLCThe TLC(Table, Ladders and Chairs) PPV made its debut in 2009, when it replaced the ‘Armageddon’ pay-per-view. As the name suggests, it was famous for hosting exciting ‘Table, Ladders and Chairs’ matches for years. Few of the most jaw dropping moments and brutal matches have taken place in this PPV over the years. The event last made its presence in the year 2020.
