Charges against CM serious, will act if I get complaint, says Kerala governor | Thiruvananthapuram News – Times of India


THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala governor Arif Mohammed Khan said Saturday Nilambur MLA P V Anvar‘s allegations against CM Pinarayi Vijayan and home department were serious. The allegation of phone tapping, including that of cops, is also grave, he said.
The governor said in New Delhi on Saturday that legal action will be taken if he receives a complaint. He said a report has been sought on the phone-tapping issue.Following the phone-tapping allegations levelled by Left-backed independent MLA against ADGP (law and order) M R Ajith Kumar, the governor had sought a report from Vijayan.
Anvar had alleged that Ajith Kumar breached public trust by tapping the phone calls of many, including ministers and journalists.
