HCLTech employee dies after heart attack at Nagpur office; company claims gave emergency care at campus clinic – Times of India


A senior analyst at HCLTechnologies Ltd. passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at the company’s office in Nagpur. Nitin Edwin Michael, 40, was found unresponsive in the office washroom around 7 pm on Friday evening. His colleagues immediately provided emergency care at the on-site clinic before rushing him to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Nagpur.Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Local police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Initial autopsy reports suggest that Michael died of cardiac arrest. Michael is survived by his wife and a six-year-old son, according to police.
