NEW DELHI: Two men entered the cabin of a doctor and allegedly shot him dead at Nima Hospital in the Jaitpur area of Southeast Delhi, news agency ANI reported.
The incident was reported from Kalindi Kunj police station area where the men initially visited the hospital seeking treatment for an injury.
After receiving treatment, they requested to meet the doctor.Upon entering his cabin, they shot him from close range, as per information shared by Delhi Police and news agency ANI.
The deceased doctor was identified as Javed Akhtar.
Police are now analysing CCTV footage to identify and arrest the suspects involved in the murder.
