‘Devara Part 1’ box office collection day 7: The Jr NTR movie sees a major drop post Gandhi Jayanti as it completes one week | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Devara Part 1‘ has now completed a week since its release and it has seen various ups and downs over the past 7 days. The film had a bumper opening on day 1 but that doesn’t seem to have continued for the rest of the days, unlike a movie like ‘Stree 2’. The film opened at Rs 82.5 crore last Friday and since then, has only seen a gradual drop.
However, it did benefit from the Gandhi Jayanti holiday and made around Rs 21 crore on Wednesday after making around Rs 14 crore on Tuesday. However, it again has seen a major drop on Thursday. According to Sacnilk, the movie has made around Rs 7.25 crore on day 7, and dropped from Rs 21 crore, which is quite big. This is a downfall of around 65 percent. This could also be due to the Navratri season which has started now and as people flock to play garba, the footfalls at the theatres may be low.
Thus, the total collection of the movie so far in the Indian market, with all the languages combined, is Rs 215.6 crore. ‘Devara’ had released in five langauges – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
This film stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan alongside Jr NTR. Now one still has hopes from its second weekend and hopefully it will see a growth
