Nithya Menen appeared in a gorgeous white saree as she received the first-ever National Award for Best Actress for her role in ‘Thiruchitrambalam’.
The Swarna Kamal (Golden Lotus) award comes with a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, while winners of the Rajat Kamal (Silver Lotus) award receive ₹2 lakh in all categories.
