Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar was pictured in the same frame with fellow cricket legends from Pakistan during his visit to the National Cricket League (NCL) in Dallas, USA, recently.
Former Pakistan captain and bowling legend Wasim Akram, who accompanied Sachin on the sidelines of the tournament, shared a picture from the moment, which also had batting icon Zaheer Abbas and former wicketkeeper Moin Khan.
“With 2 Asian greats @sachin_rt & #ZaheerAbbas and of course one of the best wicket-keepers from Pakistan #MoinKhan at NCL” – Akram captioned the image.
The National Cricket League is played in the T10 format and promoted as the ‘Sixty Strikes‘. It was held in Dallas from October 4 to 14 at the University of Texas cricket ground.
During his stay in the US, Tendulkar also received a special honour during a Dallas Cowboys NFL game when team owner Jerry Jones presented him with a custom No. 10 jersey.
This gesture underscores the increasing presence and popularity of cricket in the United States. Tendulkar’s involvement with the NCL as a co-owner plays a crucial role in this growth. Through the NCL’s innovative format, he is actively working to introduce cricket to new audiences across America.
