NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his greetings to the ITBP ‘Himveers‘ and their families on the occasion of the 63rd Raising Day of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). He praised the Force for its valour and dedication, acknowledging their role in protecting the nation, even in the most challenging terrains and adverse climatic conditions.
PM Modi also commended their efforts during natural disasters and rescue operations, expressing the immense pride they inspire among the people.

Union home minister Amit Shah also extended his greetings to the ITBP personnel, lauding their unwavering dedication to safeguarding the nation amidst extreme weather conditions. He emphasised that the nation takes immense pride in their bravery and patriotism.
Shah paid tribute to the Himveers who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.

Union minister Kiren Rijiju joined in the celebrations, expressing warm greetings to the entire ITBP family. He acknowledged the nation’s pride in their sacrifice and their role in guarding and protecting the motherland. Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan referred to the ITBP as a symbol of courage and dedication, guarding the borders and serving the nation in the most challenging terrains. He saluted their resilience and honoured their sacrifices.
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the brave soldiers of the ITBP and their families on the foundation day. He praised their valour and dedication in strengthening the security of the Indo-Tibetan border, stating that the courage shown by ITBP soldiers in protecting the nation, even in difficult circumstances, is a matter of pride for every Indian.
