NEW DELHI: Two workers from Uttar Pradesh were injured in a terrorist attack on Friday evening in Mazhama village, located in the Budgam district of central Kashmir.
The victims, identified as Sajany and Usman, were involved in implementing the government’s Jal Jeevan Mission project in the area, which aims to provide clean tap water to rural households. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed.
Following the incident, local security forces immediately cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the assailants.
