Jawan hurt in IED planted Maoist blast in Chhattisgarh | India News – Times of India


RAIPUR: A district reserve guard (DRG) jawan was injured when a pressure IED planted by Maoists exploded during a patrol in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma Sunday.
A joint team of the forces had set out from a security camp in Chintalnar region when a jawan inadvertently stepped on an IED, triggering the blast around 11 am. Podiyam Vinod was rushed to a hospital for leg injuries before being airlifted to Raipur.His condition was stable. tnn
