Actor-director Subhodh Bhave is all set to make his highly anticipated return to direction with ‘Sangeet Manapmaan‘, a musical film based on the life and works of legendary Marathi playwright Krushnaji Prabhakar Khadilkar. The film is not only a tribute to the great playwright but also promises to be a visual and musical masterpiece. In preparation for the release, the team has planned a traditional pre-release event, which is scheduled to take place on November 28 at the picturesque Ranichi Baug, Byculla (East), starting at 11 AM. The event will feature the entire cast and crew, including Subhodh Bhave himself, Sumeet Raghavan, and Vaidehi Parshurami, who will all be seen in traditional attire, setting the stage for a grand cultural celebration.
The pre-release event will emphasize the film’s classical roots, blending the rich traditions of Marathi music and storytelling in a way that promises to captivate audiences and elevate their expectations for the film. ‘Sangeet Manapmaan’ will feature 14 beautifully composed songs, crafted by the legendary musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who will also be present at the event to mark the occasion. The soundtrack will include an ensemble of talented singers, such as Avdhoot Gupte, Rahul Deshpande, Bela Shende, Priyanka Singh Baghel, Arya Ambekar, and Shivam Mahadevan, among others. Their voices, combined with the visionary music composition, will bring the historical and cultural significance of Krushnaji Khadilkar’s life and works to life on screen, making the pre-release event a momentous occasion for both fans and the entire Marathi film industry.
‘Sangeet Manapmaan’, which was initially planned to release on November 1, has been rescheduled to hit the big screens on January 10, 2025
