The makers decided to increase ticket prices during the film’s first week, and this decision has sparked some criticism. The highest ticket price in select theaters in Mumbai and Delhi reached Rs 2500. The Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments approved the price hikes, allowing for special shows as well. While prices will return to normal after the first week, the strategy aims to draw large audiences during the early days of the film’s release.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is a sequel to the 2021 hit ‘Pushpa: The Rise‘. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprise their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, respectively, in the sequel.
