PALGHAR: A 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck Maharashtra’s Palghar district on Monday morning, officials said.
The seismic activity was detected at 4.35 am in Dahanu taluka, as confirmed by district disaster management cell chief Vivekanand Kadam, referencing an official report.
Residents in the taluka’s Bordi, Dapchari and Talasari regions experienced the earthquake during the early morning hours, Kadam confirmed.
No injuries or property damage were reported in the incident.
