NEW DELHI: Actor Allu Arjun visited KIMS hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning to meet Sri Teja, the eight-year-boy who was injured in the Sandhya theatre incident.
Allu Arjun, listed as accused number 11 in the case, was granted regular bail in the case by a city court on 3 January.
As per the court’s directives, the actor is required to report to the SHO of Chikkadpally Police Station every Sunday between 10am and 1pm for two months or until the filing of the chargesheet, whichever occurs earlier.
Additionally, the court has instructed the Pushpa star not to change his residential address without prior intimation to the court until the case is resolved. He has also been barred from leaving the country without the court’s permission.
The incident in question occurred on 4 December, when a stampede-like situation erupted at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the premiere of Pushpa-2 movie.
A 35-year-old woman lost her life, and her eight-year-old son Sri Teja, sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in the city.
Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in connection with the case. However, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail till January 10.
