South Africa’s white-ball head coach, Rob Walter, on Monday has unveiled a 15-member squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, set to be held in Pakistan and the UAE from February 19 to March 9.
The squad, led by ODI captain Temba Bavuma, features a strong blend of experience and fresh talent.

Bavuma will captain a team comprising 10 players who were part of South Africa’s campaign in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023, where the Proteas reached the semi-finals.
Notable inclusions for their maiden 50-over ICC tournament are batters Tony de Zorzi, Ryan Rickelton, and Tristan Stubbs, along with all-rounder Wiaan Mulder.

The tournament will mark South Africa’s return to the Champions Trophy, with the team aiming to build on its recent World Cup success and challenge for the prestigious title.
