Shark Tank India 4’s Vineeta Singh drops pictures from her recent marathon run; recalls ‘Only took me 17 years, 14 Mumbai Marathons, and almost 15000 km of running’ | – The Times of India

Vineeta Singh, a prominent judge on “Shark Tank India,” has an inspiring journey as a runner and triathlete. Her passion for endurance sports began in 2007 when she took on the challenge of running her first full marathon in Mumbai. This experience ignited a lifelong commitment to fitness and endurance events.
Vineeta now took to her Instagram handle to share her winning moment with the recent marathon. The shark shared pictures from the run and posing with the medal as she was one of the fastest finishers. Vineeta penned a heartfelt note recalling her 17 years of passionately following her journey as a runner.
She wrote, “It’s not the pursuit of happiness, it’s the happiness in the pursuit!- Denis Waitley Only took me 17 years, 14 Mumbai Marathons, and almost 15000 km of running to hit a Sub 4 for the 42km distance, but I am more grateful for the journey than the outcome. Thanks, @kaushikmkj for not letting me take any exit options, to @sham3981 for being my running buddy through sunshine and rain and @pathik_patel82 for pacing me those last 2 critical km.”Over the years, Vineeta has participated in numerous marathons and ultramarathons, including the gruelling 89-kilometer Comrades Marathon in South Africa from 2012 to 2014. Demonstrating her versatility, she completed the Ironman Triathlon in Austria in 2017, which comprised a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km run.
One of her most remarkable achievements was during the 2018 Mumbai Marathon, where she completed a 21 km half-marathon in 2 hours, 24 minutes, and 15 seconds while six months pregnant. Her husband, Kaushik Mukherjee, accompanied her during this run.
Vineeta’s dedication to fitness extends beyond personal milestones; she believes that endurance sports have significantly contributed to her professional success. She often draws parallels between the perseverance required in long-distance running and the resilience needed in entrepreneurship. In her view, focusing on incremental goals in both running and business prevents being overwhelmed by the bigger picture.

Even with a demanding schedule, Vineeta prioritizes her fitness routine. Her commitment to running and overall well-being serves as an inspiration to many, illustrating how physical endurance can complement and enhance professional endeavors.
