Akshay Kumar’s first outing of 2025, ‘Sky Force,’ was among the highly anticipated movies of the year. Alongside Khiladi Kumar, there’s Veer Pahariya, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Kha, in the film that chronicles major events of the Indo-Pak war of 1965. With collective earnings of more than Rs.10 corer over the weekend, the film entered the Rs.100 crore club. However, according to early estimates, the business of the film saw a significant drop on Monday, which has given the earnings a push of only Rs. 1.35 crore.
According to a Sacnilk report, the movie, whose debut weekend only showed impressive growth with more than Rs.60 crores in just three days, saw its highs and lows in the following days. The first-week collection of the movie was Rs. 86.5 crore, and on its second Saturday and Sunday, it made Rs. 5 crore and Rs. 5.5 crore respectively. However, the earnings have seen a major dip following the weekend collection, as the business has dropped to Rs. 1.35 crore (as per the early estimates) on the second Monday. This is so far the lowest that the movie has recorded in its 11 days of theatrical run. The total of the movie currently stands at Rs. 101.35 crores.

‘Sky Force’ had no new release competition in the first week of its run, but on Friday Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Deva’ made it to the theatres. The Shahid Kapoor starrer cop drama made a business of Rs. 2.50 crore and beat ‘Sky Force’ in the Monday collection.
